A fundamental characteristic of this filter is long life; active charcoal filter can be cleaned and regenerated by first washing it in the dishwasher (at a temperature not higher than 65°C/150°F) and then drying into the oven at a temperature of 100°C/212°F for 10 minutes. Considering a normal use of the hood, after three years, the filter should be replaced
